Needs some major updating.

This game is great! My whole family plays, and we all enjoy being able to trade cards together. That being said, it needs a lot of work. Firstly, the card trading is getting out of hand. There needs to be a trading system coded into the game where both players have to insert trades and lock them, then trade them. (See HIGHRISE as they have a great trading system to show what I mean). This would allow for people not to be able to scam. People are also beginning to try to charge people on PayPal to be able to get these virtual cards, which is a bit ridiculous. Please monitor your trading group!!! Secondly, I hate the “gold cards”. Other games with a similar card collecting function does not have this. Please consider getting rid of it. I have multiple gold cards and can’t do anything with them. Thirdly: the game needs updates itself. I am at the top of the leaderboard for my friends group, and yet I still only get 50 dice and money that can only really upgrade one time for completing a board, but I have to pay more for bail if I end up in jail. The spinner for completing a hotel set is also not doing much. I wish there was more variety as to what you can get (even if it’s a tiny pie slice for a purple card pack, higher rolls, etc) mixed into what is currently available. The closing thoughts I have that would be nice but aren’t a huge deal would be higher daily send limits, or removing 1-2 star cards from being counted against the daily limit. It’s nice to help newer players! It’s not nice that helping them costs me a trade slot. I genuinely hope that Monopoly! Go reads and considers what we’re asking for as a community. The classic board game is very near and dear to my heart, because I met the love of my life because I went over to a friends house for board game night and we played it. We now play this together, and hope to continue doing so if the game improves!

Too much of a Gotcha Game!

To appease the SJW’s, I made it to board 30 before doing this, not that the boards matter since nothing changes aside of your landmarks for each board. The game is fun, for a bit. But they’re definitely way too money hungry. The time it takes to build up dice needs to be cut down to 30 mins from an hr, otherwise you feel forced to spend money for more rolls. I believe stickers should have a duplicate limit of 9 that way your chances of getting something you don’t already have can improve instead of staying at the same odds of 1/189. As well as add sticker packs as an item to purchase. But price definitely does NOT need to be above MAYBE $10 for the BEST sticker pack. As well as increase the amount you get for whatever the current event currency is to a base of 4 or 5 and then apply the roll multiplier. I say this because the odds of landing on a Utility, corner square or Chance is far lower than the odds of landing on a property and most events want you to land on the former rather than the ladder. This is all being said to keep those that AREN’T no-life WHALE players, playing the game. Because it feels great to accomplish something in any game, but when you feel like you have to pay to win an event or even keep up with others in any game, not just this one, it’s going to become off putting at some point and then you just lose some of if not 50%+ of your player base, which probably doesn’t matter since you still have the whale players who think accomplishments in a game makes them something or someone special. When I’m fact it does not. Call it salt all you want, but I’ve played plenty of games in my life to be able to give an opinion on how best to keep players. Unless this is a company that just cares about a quick buck, then this falls on deaf ears/blind eyes.

Monopoly Go: A Fun Game with Some Frustrating In-App Purchases

Review: I really enjoy playing Monopoly Go, but there are a few things that I find frustrating about the in-app purchases. First, I get a lot of pop-ups as soon as I open the game, all of which are trying to get me to buy more dice. I understand that the developers need to make money, but it's a bit excessive. Second, I think that the players should get more chances to move across the board when they first start playing. I only get 60 dice at the beginning of the game, and that doesn't seem like enough to make any real progress. Third, I don't think it's fair that using a multiplier deducts from your dice rolls. If I have 60 dice and I use a multiplier of 2, that should mean that I get 120 rolls, not 60. Finally, I think the screen is so cluttered with in-app purchase icons that it makes the board hard to see and navigate. I feel like if you want to purchase stuff in the Monopoly store there should be a drop-down bar. Don't put all the in-app icons on the homepage. I just want to see the board, not the purchase icons. Overall, I think Monopoly Go is a fun game, but the in-app purchases can be a bit frustrating. If the developers were to tone down the pop-ups, make it easier to earn dice, and put the in-app purchase icons in a drop-down bar, I would definitely give this game a higher rating. Rating: 1/5

Worth it

I really enjoy this game. I can see some people are upset about coins however- you have to be smart about how you play and if you are, the money will stack up and you’ll get a lot more dice-rolls in no time. When I first downloaded, I started with constantly losing coins and rolls leaving me no option but to wait hours for more automaticallya but the more I played and understood, the more rewards that came to me. Trust the process because it’s a blast when you get the hang of it. The game is endless as well so I enjoy it because normally you get tired of these kind of games but it’s super entertaining as they have daily goals with rewards and challenges that you can challenge others with. I will say there are a couple of pop up’s (NO VIDEOS, JUST OFFERS THANK YOU FOR THAT) that pop up either when you run out of rolls or when you first open the app but it’s a quick exit and not really frustrating as it doesn’t randomly come up in the middle of you playing. Last but not least, I myself have put my own money into it and didn’t regret it and I don’t do that for any games so that says a lot. Everyone i’ve invited has been hooked on it. So I’d recommend!

So I’m really not big on playing games on my phone. I decided to find a game or two when I got my new phone so I chose this one because it was popular. I LOVE it. I got my mom playing too and we have a lot of fun. I was hesitant at first because the board game of Monopoly is pretty boring and slow.. but this is nothing like the board game. I highly recommend to just try it out! No ad breaks where you have to watch that lady go homeless and freeze to death with her child (so annoying no longer funny as those ads have been playing for years and years now).. try this game out. You don’t have to spend any money to get fair gameplay. Some games you have to spend money just to get a fair chance but not here. If you don’t like the game just delete it. I recommended playing the game with at least one person you know tho.

Not really an incentive to play, just another PTP game

My friend group started playing this, was fun at first until you reach about level 1500. The constant pop up ads, gold duplicate stickers you can’t trade, obviously rigged rolls make this game absolutely annoying. Psa don’t go looking for trading in the FB/Discord groups, you’ll get scammed and end up quitting anyways. I understand games have to make money, but your game is free. I haven’t felt a game didn’t want me to play their game because I wasn’t paying them anything until now. Your “luck” is never right when it needs to be, but is always wrong at the worst times. Just a mediocre cash grab and I’m sure tis review’ll get deleted. How about value people want to play your game instead of expecting money to flow in with minimal effort cause your coding’s garb

I was in the middle of playing a monopoly go game, the Peg-E Robot. I was in the middle of playing and reached the part where I should have received a purple card pack. The moment I scored I got a pop up on my phone stating technical error and it shut my game down. I came back on after and I never received my purple pack. I messaged customer support over 7 days ago and still no response. I wouldn’t care if this was free, but I bought extra coins or whatever to play this game just so I could win all the packs. Definitely not pleased!

I am not sure why I have not received my purchase but $100 isn’t a lot to loose but isn’t a little to loose! Trying to get ahold of customer service is a whole headache in itself. I don’t recommend purchasing anything at this time! Game glitches are more and more the higher the level you are. Just FYI for those who wanna spend money on games. If this ever gets corrected I will still be iffy to purchase in the future from here on out.😡😡😡

i had over 17,000 M’s lastnight i was in 5th place globally. today they r gone….i did not re-install the game. my tag is omased. while i was playing i went to see where i was and nowhere is the answer. its showing i only have a bit over 3K. no way someone reChed Barcelona with that little. WHAT THE HECK, your customer support is useless so im putting it here. whats the point of playing if randomly all your points basically dissapear

Fun game but needs some changes

-I love this game it’s a lot of fun! The only thing I do not like is that once you complete a board that cost you over a billion to do, you only receive 50 dice no matter how far in the levels you are. I feel like the higher you get in boards, you should receive more dice than 50. People on level 125 get the same as people on 5 & it cost them less than a million to complete a level. Dice are really hard to come by unless you spend money.
