Everyone on this platform aside from the bots and the children too young to speak comprehensively seem to hate youtube’s management. The people’s most recent grievances are the removal of dislikes and the increase in ads. And advertisers and companies hate youtube because of how much piracy and unfair use there is. And creators are always expressing complaints with monetization.
On a moderately unrelated note, I’m writing this because I'm frustrated with the amount of ads crammed down my throat. Now, I can understand the importance of advertising to youtube’s whole business model, but the sheer volume of advertising material I am forced to consume is absurd. From banners strewn between videos, to adds between songs in an album, to 2 ads before every video as to make it impossible to check out a video in any sort of timely manner. I will admit, I don’t know how much profit youtube actually makes so it is possible that this is necessary, but there has to be a better way to implement advertising. Also, don’t forget that youtube is a part of Google, Google, one of the most wide reaching and powerful organizations in the history of SPECIES.
If you’re Eric, or learned from him, here you go: nobody like youtube management, ads implemented bad, youtube probably greedy, and this average review score is way too high, lets fix that please.
For some of the YouTubers that sell merchandise , I was wondering if the developers that do updates could add a tab for shop? It would then bring up tshirts, hats, I like the tshirts but have to maybe find a more direct route to getting to that page.
Also, maybe explain how the $ we might want to donate works.
There was areques5 years back, Katrina, perhaps, and when spouse donated, the money amount was subtracted (?} from our phone bill. I’m not sure if I said that right. Ok, maybe if the amount was $35.00 and we gave $5.00 donation, then we owed phone bill
$40.00, instead of $35.00. I’ve wanted to get one of those Ryan Hall tshirts because he has directly helped the communities that were hard hit by natural disasters. I may be hundreds of miles away, so I would not know. There’s just so many spammers and scammers. Costco did some assisting. We would buy stuff from a list of items needed and drop it off before we got back into our car.
I haven’t seen Costco doing anything like that for many years now. Who knows, maybe they got burned for it? There were reports of states hiding supplies in a warehouse, and some people pocketing proceeds for 5hemselves. Sad.
YouTube penalizes viewers of “conservative” videos. This platform had limitless potential, unfortunately the moderators and most of the app’s administrators are extremely hateful towards anyone with any and all opinions that differ from politically as well as culturally neomarxist orthodoxy. From huge Yt stars with millions of followers to normal random everyday ppl the ppl at YouTube maliciously shadow ban, manipulate stats, and constantly dial down conservatives who have large followeings to make it appear as tho they aren’t popular when in fact they actually outperform and outpace any leftist counterpart. And those who stick to disgusting neomarxist orthodoxy, even those who have minimal followers, they boost artificially the stats to make them appear as tho they r popular when in reality they r not.
What we are witnessing day by day is YouTube collapsing. Censorship increases more and more and YouTubers are beginning to fail because they can’t make any videos AT ALL regardless of topic because of either copyright, demonitization, or age restricting. It’s ridiculous. On top of that they’ve taken many things away like the dislike button. No new YouTubers can get off the ground and the big ones are being forced to make shorts and shorter videos to survive. And to make it worse they also have to adapt their content to be more kid friendly, making more funny, adult YouTubers(like Albert stuff, now flamingo) having to drastically change their humor and content, or else make no money and even risk the deletion of their accounts. I’m tired of YouTube becoming a drooling mess.
Hi! I love the new update but I've been seeing some videos on YouTube that are just…weird and not appropriate for children especially little kids who go on here. Kevin Leonardo left a video on the internet and there is way other inappropriate content on his channel talking about sex toys and other disgusting things that shouldn’t be posted on a kid friendly app! He posted up a video of him Rubbing this cream on his butt and other areas(men area) showing his whole doe area to the internet! Many kids have watched it especially teens and have gotten traumatized please try to fix that and maybe ban the account cause it is extremely disturbing and disgusting to watch. Other then that I love YouTube! The update is awesome! Please fix that issue though!
Tired of YouTube removing videos from Abebe Belew, Ethio360, and the likes YouTube! They are the true voice for the victimzed people! They are exposing the Ethiopian government committing war crimes, genocide on Amhara people, corruption..just recently used the most decorated airlines, Ethiopian airline commercial flight airplanes to transport troops! I enjoy YouTube for all the how to videos, movie scenes ect. It rates number 1 for me. What bothers me most are the ads. I don’t mind an ad before a video and I don’t mind one in the middle sometimes if the video is lengthy but I hate watching a short video and have it interrupted every minute or sometimes 2 minutes for products I am never going to buy or even look at. I will look for the product if I want it. It’s a waste of my time. YouTube was a fun place to surf now it getting to be garbage like everything else.
I love youtube but I’ve been having a big issue where the audio will cut out every 5 seconds or so no matter what I change.
I’ve restarted the app, lowered video quality, changed the data or wifi I’m using, done data tests, even deleted the app an nothing helps. The weirdest part is the video doesn’t stop playing, it’s only the audio.
I just want to use the app like normal 🙃

But on YouTube and it now has 5 million hits a fraudulent report and I’ve reported this to YouTube and it’s still up that actor Sam Elliott had died?! Why hasn’t YouTube taken this off?!?! It’s been reported over 1000 times now who is in charge of the ship???
love youtube but lately it's been acting a bit buggy. sometimes the app crashes when using background play or pip. and sometimes when i'm in the app, too, it just crashes. single video loop doesn't stay on when i turn it on, it turns off after one play. and videos don't continue playing when i'm listening with my screen off, after the current video finishes, it stops playing and i have to physically press play on the next one.
